Supporters of Caroline Kennedy's bid for Hillary Clinton's U.S. Senate seat say her support for education makes her a qualified candidate to represent New York. She worked for the state's Department of Education for almost two years as a chief fundraiser, bringing in tens of millions of dollars, and continued her involvement in education as part of the nonprofit Fund for Public Schools.
