Virtual-gift campaigns from Malibu Rum and Nestlé, which are really little more than ads passed along on social-media networks, are yielding better results than banner ads. The campaigns yield multiple impressions, particularly if recipients post the images of the cookies and drinks they receive on their Facebook pages.
