Senate nears final vote on health care overhaul

Working through the weekend, Senate Democrats overcame Republican procedural moves aimed at blocking final approval of historic health reform legislation. The last and crucial vote is scheduled for Wednesday. "This bill is the product of years of hard work, study and deliberation. These are the reforms for which Americans have been waiting," Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus, D-Mont., said on the Senate floor Sunday night. Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., said he is ready to "fight until the last vote."
