Federal court upholds EPA's ethanol, biodiesel rules in RFS2

A federal court in Washington, D.C., dismissed an appeal filed by the National Petrochemical & Refiners Association and the American Petroleum Institute against the Environmental Protection Agency's biodiesel requirements in the Renewable Fuels Standard. The EPA's rules on renewable fuels in RFS2 are in keeping with the agency's mandate under the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007, the court ruled.
