Maine dairy farmers sued over milk labeling

Some Maine dairy farmers are fighting Monsanto and others for the right to keep their official Quality seal, which is granted only to milk from cows that are not injected with a genetically engineered growth hormone made by agrochemical companies. The dairy farmers say they are in the business of marketing milk, not drugs, while agrochemical companies -- who say the hormone-free milk is not safer -- have sued, contending the labels give customers a false impression.
