America still has a sweet tooth

After a decline last year, sales of sweet baked goods are expected to reach $12 billion in 2005, according to one research firm. To appeal to consumers' tastes, Pepsico's Quaker Oats is introducing a breakfast cookie, Nestle has launched low-calorie desserts with four of its Lean Cuisine entrees and Papa John's International is offering a dessert pizza.
