Boeing resolves 787 fastener problems, focuses on test flight

Boeing Co. sources say fastener issues with the 787 have been all but resolved, and the first plane will be ready for painting by the end of February. Flight testing could begin as early as April, though no official announcement is expected until Boeing releases its full-year financial results on Jan. 28.
