Gas-price drop doesn't equal change at supermarket

Although rapidly decreasing gas prices have encouraged consumers in Tampa Bay, Fla., many still say they aren't seeing the effects in their utilities, airline-ticket prices and grocery-store bills. Although distribution costs often are cited for the high cost of food, experts say food inflation is the result of competing stores refusing to lower prices.
