Texas School for the Blind to improve accessibility

The 92-year-old buildings of the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired will soon be getting a major upgrade with a $29 million reconstruction project that began in early December. The renovation, expected to be completed in 2012, will make the school more accommodating to those with mental and physical disabilities in addition to visual impairments.
