Turquoise to launch pan-European service linking "dark pools"

Equities-trading platform Turquoise plans to announce a share-trading service that will link bank-operated "dark pools" to battle the fragmentation of liquidity across Europe. "Everyone is limited by the fact that they only have their own dark pool," Turquoise CEO Eli Lederman said. "Our independent, centralised infrastructure offers a meeting point for otherwise fragmented liquidity."
