Boise officials oppose plan to relocate TRACON

Officials in Boise, Idaho, have protested the Federal Aviation Administration's plan to move Boise Airport's TRACON system to Salt Lake City. They say that the move will cost 10 local jobs and will not save money because Salt Lake City pays air traffic controllers at a higher rate. The mayor of Boise has also requested an environmental impact study before the FAA proceeds.
