Crews work to reinforce eroded coastal bluff

Construction crews have been working to buttress an eroded coastal bluff in Pacifica, Calif., that threatens an apartment complex built on it. About 200,000 pounds of rock will be used as a temporary fix to shore up the bluff at a cost of $400,000. Powerful waves and high tides ripped off sections of the bluff last week, forcing residents of the 12-unit complex to evacuate.
