Group urges use of Web-based registry during emergencies

The American Ambulance Association next month will start informing their medics about a Web-based registry called, which keeps basic health information and up to 10 emergency contacts for each person who registers. During an emergency, authorized personnel will be able to rapidly access a patient's health history and automatically inform the contacts that their relative or friend is on the way to the hospital.
