Neurosurgeon to test ReNeuron's stem cell line in stroke victims

A Scottish neurosurgeon will start by early next year a study to test the effectiveness of ReNeuron Group's ReN001 stem cell line in repairing damaged brains of 12 stroke victims. Under the two-year study, male patients will get injections of up to 20 million stem cells derived from the brain of an aborted fetus.
