Secure Flight gets holiday test, unnoticed by most

Baltimore's ABC affiliate reports on privacy concerns surrounding the Secure Flight program, which is getting its first major workout this holiday season. A TSA spokeswoman says the program runs behind the scenes, almost unnoticed by passengers. "If you have your boarding pass in hand, the Secure Flight process will have already been completed," she notes. But Marc Rotenberg with the Electronic Privacy Information Center says that he worries about the security of the data passengers are required to submit. "I don't think our systems of oversight and accountability have kept up with these new forms of government access," he says.
