Jam, cranberry sauce won't make it through security, TSA says

Travelers should think twice about trying to carry certain holiday goodies through airport security. Earlier this month, TSA agents at Denver International Airport refused to let Kathleen Triou take homemade raspberry jam through a security checkpoint. "It was jam. Just homemade jam in a tiny mason jar," said Triou. "They said it has the potential to be bomb material." Jams and cranberry sauce are only permitted in checked luggage, according to the TSA.
