NTSB calls for additional anti-fatigue rules for commuting pilots

The National Transportation Safety Board says the new pilot-fatigue rules from the Federal Aviation Administration should extend further. "The FAA and industry need to take steps that go beyond providing training, education and guidance on the matter," an NTSB representative said. "We wanted to see additional focus on the companies' responsibilities to help manage fatigue risks resulting from commuting pilots."
