Political candidates put Facebook to work

Political candidates are turning to Facebook to raise money, mobilize volunteers and engage supporters, according to an internal Facebook report. Ron Paul is adding Facebook fans faster than any other candidate, at a rate of 6,000 per day during the past two weeks, the report says, while President Barack Obama is using the site to leverage his 24 million fans there.
