Study: Dairy industry has achieved greater sustainability

Genetic, nutrition and herd management advances have helped the U.S. dairy industry increase its sustainability, according to researchers who studied the industry from 1944 to 2012. Today, the dairy industry uses 64% less cows who eat and drink less to produce 59% more milk, the research revealed.
