Study: Flaxseed-filled diet may lower high blood pressure

A daily dose of fiber-filled flaxseed may reduce high blood pressure, according to a study by the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Participants in the study ate foods with about one ounce of milled flaxseed every day for six months and found that their blood pressure dropped about 15 mm Hg on average.
