Sucre expansion includes product for Whole Foods

Sucre, a New Orleans-based confectioner, is opening its third French Quarter location this year, adding 30 employees and launching the MacBubl by Sucre in Whole Foods Markets nationwide. The MacBubl is a reversed macaron, a cookie coated in chocolate ganache and enrobed in hardened chocolate. To get the product on Whole Foods shelves took three years and a $250,000 investment.
