Graphic organizer software offers children new tools for visual learning

Tech columnist Joyce Kasman Valenza says Kidspiration, one of her favorite software programs for grades K-5, has added new features that allow students to more easily organize their thoughts for school reading and writing projects. Parent company Inspiration Software offers a Web site with ideas about how to integrate the program, along with a new version for grades 6 and up, into the curriculum.
