Social-networking tools add flavor to food sites

Food and cooking sites have become increasingly popular this year, thanks largely to the integration of social-networking tools. These new social features have helped propel the popularity of sites like Epicurious.com and Allrecipes.com, which saw a more than 20% increase in unique users last month versus November 2006. Marketers in turn are stepping up their ad-buying on food sites.
