The incoming Obama administration might work to simultaneously address hunger and obesity in the country. Iowa Gov. Tom Vilsack, Obama's nominee for agriculture secretary, said he is looking to place "nutrition at the center of all food-assistance programs," indicating that he might participate next year in Congress' plan to reintroduce nutrition programs in schools.
