Task force studies foreign-language learning

An Oregon school district hopes to return to its formerly distinguished foreign language program after budget restrictions forced officials to eliminate the lessons in 1990. A task force in the Ashland district is now exploring several options, including teaching core subjects, like math, in a foreign language or using a language-learning software program.
