Britt says Time Warner Cable will stick with "pure plays"

Time Warner Cable, which recently was split off from Time Warner, has no plans to acquire content companies the way Comcast has with NBC Universal, according to Chief Executive Officer Glenn Britt. Instead, he said, the company will look to grow on the distribution side and would consider purchasing certain assets of Cablevision or Charter Communications if the price were right.
