Builders go "net zero" in neighborhoods around the nation

"Net-zero" developments are popping up around the country as builders try to satisfy demand for greener housing. A "net-zero" home requires a solar- or wind-power system to give back to the grid most or all of the energy it uses. The construction premium can be as much as 15%, but costs are coming down.
