Social-media recruiting pays off for Crowe Horwath

Crowe Horwath reports 20% of its hires for the first half of its fiscal year came from nontraditional recruiting sources such as search-engine marketing, job aggregators and social-networking sites. "Overall, we're getting better candidates from these social-media sources and we have a much better ROI," says Michele Porfilio, the company's strategic sourcing leader.
