Service dog banned from Iowa town because of breed

Vietnam veteran and retired Chicago police officer Jim Sak's therapy dog was ordered to be removed from an Iowa city because it is a pit bull, a breed banned in Aurelia. The situation will likely escalate into a legal battle over the federal Americans With Disabilities Act, which gives people with disabilities the right to have any breed of service dog.
