NimbleTV startup starts beta test of TV service in N.Y.

NimbleTV is initiating a beta test of its Web-based television service this month in New York City. The startup is working with pay-TV providers to offer their feeds to any platform a customer wants to use. In the first three months of next year, NimbleTV will likely price its service at about $20 a month, on top of pay-TV subscription charges, according to CEO Anand Subramanian.
