Ga. airport to undergo FAA environmental review

As part of a settlement reached involving the residents of Paulding County, Ga., the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Aviation Administration, Paulding County Airport will undergo an environmental review. A lawsuit filed on behalf of the residents alleged that the Paulding County Airport Authority wanted to convert the general aviation airport into a commercial airport with the expansion, and that the FAA had wrongly issued categorical exclusions.
