How teachers can help make their students "great"

Educators should aim to create "great students" by teaching them how to learn and then letting them take over, educator Ben Johnson writes in this blog post. Among his suggestions are teaching students about learning styles and setting weekly learning goals. "Realizing that no one is naturally a great student, we have to make the focus more all about learning and not teaching, giving them the right motivation, skills, and tools," he writes.
