Mars invests $11.7M in plant in Waco, Texas

Mars Chocolate North America will invest $11.7 million in capital improvements in its Waco, Texas, facility, including a $4 million chocolate enrober. The plant, which opened in 1976, produces all the Starburst and Skittles products as well as 85% of the Snickers products sold in the U.S. Mars reported $30 billion in revenues last year.
