Surge in mobile ad spending puts China ahead of U.S.

Marketers' spending on mobile ads in China topped the U.S. total by about 25% in the third quarter, in part because of Chinese Internet companies' push to expand abroad, according to an AppFlood report. Chinese developers spent money testing new apps and games in Southeast Asia and the Middle East ahead of launching them internationally, according to the report.
