Carriers race to add advanced entertainment systems

Airlines are adding advanced entertainment systems as part of a plan to boost revenue and gain more market share. US Airways, for example, hopes to offer a new fiber optic in-flight entertainment system. Delta Air Lines' new seat-back system includes movies on demand, live TV and HBO programming.
