Food activists send wishes to Obama

Though there's little reason to believe President-elect Barack Obama will seek an overhaul of the U.S. food system, that hasn't stopped activists from reaching out to the incoming administration. The editor of Gourmet, for one, would like a locavore White House chef, and a farmer in Maine wants to see an organic vegetable garden at the presidential residence.
