Give employees a 24-hour mental holiday

With the recession pushing work stress to new highs, this writer suggests businesses declare a "Production Bankruptcy Day." This is a day when there are no deadlines, no meetings and no obligation to answer e-mail. Instead, employees use the day to clean out desks and files and to brainstorm in a way that isn't possible during a normal work day.
