Ohio teacher prepares for leadership in summer academy

An Ohio teacher was one of 47 selected from 3,000 applicants for the Summer Leadership Academy program through Columbia University's Klingenstein Center for Independent School Leadership. The two-year master's degree program is designed to prepare teachers to become leaders in independent schools, and Sarah Horgan, a 24-year teaching veteran, said her goal was "to become better informed about how best to educate students for the 21st century."
