Mexico City's landmark decision to grant same-sex couples the right to marry already is helping to galvanize advocates in other Latin American countries to press for marriage-equality rights. But the legislation also has brought forth some of the strongest anti-gay comments yet from Mexico's religious and conservative leadership.
