Brands should stop overlooking Foursquare

Facebook and Twitter are the obvious places to start when planning a social media strategy -- but Foursquare is a close runner-up, Niall Harbison writes. Neither Twitter nor Facebook can compete with Foursquare's location-based services, and its loyal users are an attractive target for marketers. "With over 40 million venues and one million businesses to check-in to, there’s a lot of potential to make Foursquare work for you," Harbison writes.
