FedEx not so enchanting, analysts say

Back in 2011, FedEx's "Enchanted Forest" advertisement told consumers the "inspiring story of how a shipping giant can befriend a forest," but analysts say the company's environmental efforts haven't lived up to its marketing. Hybrids make up less than 1% of FedEx's U.S. fleet, and -- like other major shippers -- FedEx has proved reluctant to adopt fuel-efficiency strategies that take a long time to pay off.
