Pepsi cans engage consumers with AR appeal

Pepsi is issuing a call to action on its cans in the U.S. Northeast, encouraging consumers to download the Blippar application to access a locker room scene via augmented reality. The campaign is part of Pepsi's lead-up to its sponsorship of the Super Bowl in 2015. "CPG brands are recognizing that the package itself can be a vehicle to spark consumer engagement and interaction," Blippar CEO Ambarish Mitra said.
