U.S. opens ports to Santa's reindeer

Cupid, Donner, Blitzen and the rest of Santa's sleigh crew won't have to worry about ending up in a customs holding pen this holiday season thanks to a special dispensation granted by the U.S. government. The permit, which was issued by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, allows Santa's nine reindeer free access through U.S. northern ports for 24 hours starting at 6 a.m. on Christmas Eve. We can only hope a similar waver was issued for the big man himself through immigration.
