Wash. middle school works toward 100% National Board Certification

Teachers at a middle school in Washington state set a goal a few years ago of becoming the first middle school in the country to have all teachers achieve National Board Certification. With three teachers recently earning the credential, about one-third of the school's staff now is board-certified. Shandra Crosby, one of the teachers to earn the certification this year, says the application process helped her delve deeper into instructional methods.
