Missouri hospital to feature new imaging equipment

The Board of Trustees of Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla, Mo., has approved a plan to purchase medical imaging equipment from Philips. The $15 million purchase and installation deal will include a PET/CT scanner, a Brilliance 256 Slice CT and two MRI scanners. The purchase is expected to double the hospital's capacity.
