Ga. reactor project picks up steam in 2012

The Plant Vogtle expansion project in Georgia has picked up steam since it secured the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's approval in February, observers say. The site was filled with up to 2,200 workers every day, assembling structures and equipment for the two Westinghouse Electric AP1000 reactors.
