Senate bill tackles cell phone directories

A group of U.S. senators has proposed legislation that would prevent wireless carriers from listing cell phone numbers without the users' express permission. The lawmakers say the move is aimed at stopping telemarketers and protecting children, but CTIA-The Wireless Association® says the industry has no plans to introduce a cell phone directory.
