Aid experts urge more help for Africa's female farmers

Aid groups are spearheading efforts to encourage policymakers to focus their agricultural aid efforts on small-scale female farmers, who grow as much as 80% of Africa's food crops. Improved technology for working the land, crop storing facilities and increased seed variety are some of the improvements suggested by proponents.
