Report: Most flu cases occur in the Southeastern region

The CDC reported low flu activity levels this fall, but officials expect more flu infections in the weeks and months to come. The CDC has noted 2,807 flu diagnoses this season, with the Southeastern region accounting for 63% of all cases and 86% of all influenza B virus infections. The agency has also received reports of flu-related deaths, including cases of two children.
