White House staff fine-tunes Obama's team for 2011 and 2012

Senior staff members at the White House are working on getting U.S. President Barack Obama the people he needs for the 2011 congressional session and his re-election campaign in 2012. Faces will include a director for the National Economic Council to replace Lawrence Summers and possibly a successor for Defense Secretary Robert Gates. Obama hopes to spend more time outside Washington, D.C., next year, said senior adviser Valerie Jarret.
